The Alternative Educational School, located in the former East Elementary school building in Iron Mountain, conducted their 2nd annual pizza challenge this week. Participants included Vanessa Lanthier, Devon Urban, Cody Smith, Paige Vincent, Savahnna Pollock, Dakota Juul, D.J. Burnette, and Tiffany Griswald. The students created four different pizzas to be critiqued by judges from five area pizza restaurants. Judges included Paige Beyers of Mainstreet Pizza, Theresa Peterson of The Pizza Oven, John Budge of The Pizza Hut, Jacob Griggs of Blackstone and Nick Steber of Antonio’s.
